Emilio is determined, courageous, resilient.  Life is complicated, and he can get a bit overwhelmed, but don’t we all?  He knows he will get through it.  Emilio is game, so let’s play!

This is Angelica.  She’s a bit shy, but she really loves to meet new people. Every new encounter for her is full of anticipation and possibility — she really hopes you will love her as much as she loves you!  She is hamming it up for the photographer here, and invites everyone to smile with her and say “Cheeeeeze!”

Charley likes to look Ferocious, but really he is as sweet as sugar pie. His friends are the most important thing in the world to him, and he would do just about anything to protect them.

Archie is a flyer.  He has so much energy and when he is on the ground he just jumps around all the time.  He is happiest leaping in the air, soaring from branch branch in the trees.  In fact, he has made a nest high up in the trees and his every breath is full of forest.  He loves new friends, and everyone is invited to visit him for tea… way up there… if you dare!

This is Mikey… he’ll eat anything!  Literally. Nuts, bolts, safety pins, seashells.  He’s not picky about his food, but he is quite precise about everything else around him.  He likes for things to be “just so”, and doesn’t mind putting in the time and effort to make sure they are, down to the smallest detail.  To a more messy monster, this might seem annoying, but really its a godsend…someone has to take care of the details, right?

Stacie is a traveller.  She has a voracious appetite for new experiences and new places.  She wants to see the eiffel tower, she wants to explore the pyramids.  She has just started to get out and experience this great wide world, so if you are out and about, keep your eyes open…you might just find Stacie taking selfies in front of some great monument!

This is Elvis.  He’s really quiet, and very rarely seen in company.  He’s not so good at communicating and really really does not like to “party”.  But he is so so good at sitting quietly with a friend and listening with an open heart.  If you need a safe place, someone who will listen without interrupting and care about you no matter what, then Elvis is your monster. 

Albertus is weird, even for the monster tribe.  He knows that there is no one else like him in the whole universe, and it used to bother him.  But now, in the Tribe, he feels OK about it.  Even kind of proud.  He is quiet and a bit, well, salty I guess.   But anyone who stays around long enough to get to know him discovers a truly extraordinary and special person.
