Meet Mikey

Mikey will eat absolutely anything. Nuts, bolts, safety pins, seashells, the occasional shoelace. He’s endlessly curious about the world, and his favourite way of investigating something new is to put it in his mouth and see what it tastes like. His mouth is underneath his body, where a row of powerful grinding wheels makes short work of practically anything. The same wheels also carry him around, which is rather convenient.

When it comes to everything else, however, Mikey is extremely particular. He likes things to be just so. Every object has its proper place, every task has a correct way of being done, and every detail deserves attention. If you move the salt shaker while you’re having dinner with him, he’ll quietly put it back exactly where it was. Even if you’re still using it.

Mikey is clever, patient and remarkably thorough. He can spend hours getting something exactly right, although he sometimes struggles to understand why everyone else isn’t equally concerned about a crooked picture or a badly folded napkin. He’s not trying to be difficult. He simply can’t see why anyone would want to leave things wrong.

His friends have learned to appreciate his attention to detail, even if they occasionally have to hide the salt shaker. And if something goes missing, there’s always the possibility that Mikey has eaten it.
